Privacy

No account or Discord login is required to play. Rooms store nicknames, avatars, bids, owned food and private advantages for up to two hours. Your secret reconnect token stays in browser local storage. Other bidders see your nickname, coins, scores and revealed food; your powers and Sneak Peek remain private.

Optional Google sign-in stores a nickname, avatar and hashed Google identity and email identifier. Secure HTTP-only session cookies last up to thirty days. Google verifies your identity; Mystery Market does not read your Gmail messages. Saved account profiles persist separately from match rooms.

The empty shop currently has no purchasable items. If approved cosmetic products are added later, Stripe handles payment details, while the server stores verified orders and cosmetic ownership. Match coins, points and powers cannot be purchased.

Audio preferences

Music, sound effect and volume choices stay in local storage. The browser synthesizes original retro audio locally; no external music service receives your game state.

Advertising choices

Google AdSense ownership metadata is configured. Advertising is disabled until Google approves the site and the certified consent setup and age policy are verified. The adapter defaults to no ads for unknown-age or under-eighteen users, and no ads during auctions or power phases.

If ads are enabled later, Google and its consent platform may process cookies, network identifiers and advertising consent signals. Optional ads require an adult age declaration and consent through a Google-certified platform; this declaration is for ads only and never blocks gameplay. No room tokens, hidden lots, private powers or nicknames are passed as ad-targeting data. Use Ad privacy choices in the footer to manage or withdraw advertising choices. Rejecting ads leaves the game playable.

Cloudflare processes network metadata to serve and protect requests. Rate-limit identifiers are hashed and temporary. There is no Google Analytics integration. Shared result cards exclude room codes, private advantages and unrevealed lots; sharing is always your action.
